Hey. You’re probably reading this post because either: I told you to, or I got really lucky that you stumbled upon a webpage with my name on it. I want to let you know that I’m really glad you’re reading this. You really could’ve just looked at the pictures and left. You didn’t. So, thank you.
Anyway, let’s move along from my self-pitied intro paragraph.
My name is Ana Gabriela Teran. I’d like to describe myself as your everyday small-town college-girl, but the truth is, I am that girl you find at the grocery store wearing a printed scarf tied around her neck, a slip dress under a jacket (even if it’s 90 degrees Fahrenheit), wrap-around platform sandals and some sort of statement piece –lately it’s been a purse shaped like a fried egg. Yep, I’m that girl.
It’s quite funny actually. Yesterday, I ordered some take-out. I was wearing my yoga clothes. I had to talk myself out of changing into something else before going downstairs to grab it. All I had to do was retrieve a brown paper bag, say thanks to a guy I’ll probably never see again and come right back up to my apartment.
There I was, in my shoebox of a room, debating whether or not to switch my stretchy leggings with boyfriend jeans and swap my avocado-boobs shirt for a much more toned down blouse. I ended up convincing myself that I was being ridiculous. It would’ve been a shame for me to stink up clean clothing just to pick up some food waiting for me three floors below. I’m glad I had my priorities straightened out.
As you can see, I’m a reasonable person, but I take my fashion very seriously. (I am trying to be funny here; I hope you can tell. If not, this is really awkward and I am really sorry –but you should just laugh a little bit for fun.)
I started this blog to have a place to express my style and share some of my tricks to staying fashionable, while on this treacherous college budget.
Above all, this blog will be where I will share content in hopes of your enjoyment as well as my way of preserving memories.
